About The Role
We are seeking an experienced DevOps / Cloud Engineer to join our talented team at UST. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure primarily on Microsoft Azure. Your expertise will enable us to automate deployment processes, optimize infrastructure management, and ensure the security and reliability of our cloud-based applications and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure cloud services, infrastructure as code (IaC), and container orchestration, with a passion for automation and continuous improvement. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the digital transformation goals of our clients.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 7+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles, with a proven track record working extensively with Microsoft Azure. Strong hands-on expertise in Azure DevOps, Terraform automation, and Kubernetes is essential. Candidates should have experience managing Azure Blob Storage, Virtual Machines, and Key Vault, along with a solid understanding of cloud security principles and networking fundamentals. Immediate or short notice availability is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, along with relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer being advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and automate Azure infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring scalable and reliable environments.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps to facilitate continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage Azure resources including Blob Storage, Virtual Machines, and Key Vault to support application needs and security requirements.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, security protocols, and access controls to safeguard cloud environments.
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline workflows and improve system resilience.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
