About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps / CI/CD Engineer to join our dynamic team at UST. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines that support our software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation, containerization, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to optimize workflows, enhance system reliability, and implement best practices in DevSecOps. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on innovative projects, leverage cutting-edge tools, and contribute to the digital transformation journey of global clients.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 9+ years of experience in DevOps or CI/CD engineering roles. Strong hands-on expertise with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines is essential. A deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and optimization is required to ensure efficient software delivery. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Kubernetes for deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting. Scripting skills in Python and Shell scripting are mandatory, along with experience using DevSecOps tools such as Snyk, SonarQube, or similar platforms. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker, version control systems like Git, and branching strategies is also necessary. A solid understanding of build, release, and deployment processes is vital for success in this role.
Responsibilities
As a DevOps / CI/CD Engineer at UST, your responsibilities will include designing and developing scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines aligned with best practices. You will automate build, test, and deployment processes to accelerate software delivery cycles. Managing container orchestration using Kubernetes, troubleshooting deployment issues, and ensuring high availability of services will be key tasks. You will also collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures within pipelines, ensuring compliance with security standards. Implementing infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation will be part of your scope. Monitoring system performance through tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack, and optimizing pipelines for performance and security will be ongoing responsibilities. Additionally, you will stay updated with emerging DevSecOps trends and continuously improve existing processes to enhance operational efficiency.
