About The Role
We are seeking an experienced DevOps / Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team at UST. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in automation, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud security. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment, scalability, and security of applications and infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach to automating infrastructure using Terraform, managing Kubernetes environments, and optimizing cloud resources to support our digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, with a proven track record working extensively with Microsoft Azure. A strong understanding of cloud architecture, automation tools, and container orchestration is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, and managing various Azure services such as Blob Storage, Virtual Machines, and Key Vault. Relevant certifications in Azure or DevOps are preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and effective communication are vital for success in this role. Immediate or short notice period availability is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and automate Azure infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ensuring scalable and reliable environments.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps to facilitate continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage Azure storage solutions such as Blob Storage, and implement security controls using Azure Key Vault and Virtual Machines.
- Implement monitoring, logging, security best practices, and access controls to safeguard cloud resources and applications.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment workflows and improve system reliability.
- Participate in troubleshooting, incident response, and performance tuning of cloud environments.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices to continuously improve infrastructure and processes.
