About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at UST. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines that support our software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps best practices, extensive hands-on experience with automation tools, and a passion for optimizing deployment processes. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration, reliable releases, and scalable infrastructure. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects with cutting-edge technologies, contributing significantly to the digital transformation initiatives at UST.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 9+ years of professional experience in DevOps or CI/CD engineering roles.
- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline architecture, automation, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python and Shell scripting to automate processes and enhance pipeline functionalities.
- Experience with DevSecOps tools like Snyk, SonarQube, or similar security scanning solutions integrated within pipelines.
- Solid knowledge of containerization technologies, especially Docker.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, including branching strategies and code management.
- Understanding of build, release, and deployment processes across various environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
- Implement best practices for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing, security scans, and quality checks within pipelines.
- Manage and optimize container orchestration platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure security and compliance standards are integrated into DevOps processes.
- Stay updated with emerging DevOps trends and technologies, recommending improvements and innovations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support deployment strategies and operational excellence.
