Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The candidate should have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerization, automation tools, and infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP platforms.
- Work closely with development and QA teams to streamline release processes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
- Manage containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards.
- Maintain configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Perform system upgrades, patch management, and backup activities.
- Optimize infrastructure cost, performance, and scalability.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Bash.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Nagios.
- Understanding of networking, security, and system architecture concepts.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- DevOps or Cloud certifications are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Good to Have:
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Exposure to serverless technologies.
- Knowledge of container security and DevSecOps practice.
