DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in cloud and on-premise infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating deployments, managing scalable systems, and improving development workflows.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
· Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on Kubernetes clusters (cloud and on-premise)
· Work with Amazon Web Services for cloud infrastructure management
· Set up and maintain on-premise Kubernetes clusters using tools like kubeadm or K3s
Automate infrastructure provisioning using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell
Manage containerization using Docker
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability
· Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release processes
Implement security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines
Required Skills
· Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.)
· Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (cloud + on-premise)
· Expertise in CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins
· Proficiency in scripting (Bash / Python / Shell)
· Experience with Docker and container orchestration
· Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
· Understanding of networking concepts and security
Good to Have
· Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
· Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
· Exposure to GitOps practices
· Experience with ingress controllers and load balancers (e.g., MetalLB for on-prem)
