About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer who can own infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and production reliability. You will work closely with backend and security teams to improve system scalability, observability, and automation.
This is not a “click-ops” role — we expect strong debugging, automation, and system thinking skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage and improve cloud infrastructure (AWS-based)
- Maintain and scale Kubernetes clusters (EKS/self-managed)
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Jenkins)
- Implement secure infrastructure (IAM, VPC, secrets management)
- Improve observability (logs, metrics, alerts)
- Own production issues, RCA, and reliability improvements
- Work on cost optimization and performance tuning
- Implement backup & disaster recovery strategies
- Ensure secure API communication (mTLS, rate limiting)
Required Skills:
- Strong Linux fundamentals (processes, networking, debugging)
- Experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, Load Balancers)
- Kubernetes hands-on (deployments, services, ingress, debugging)
- CI/CD pipeline creation and troubleshooting
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Networking basics (DNS, TLS, HTTP/S, Load Balancing)
Security & Reliability
- Understanding of:
- mTLS
- Rate limiting
- Secrets management
- Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
- Backup & Disaster Recovery strategies
Good to have:
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Exposure to fintech/security-heavy environments
