About the Role:
The Axis Bank Centre for Mathematics and Computing (ABCMC) at IISc is seeking a Development Officer to oversee and coordinate its academic, administrative, and outreach activities. The role serves as the primary point of contact for Axis Bank CSR and ensures smooth execution of Centre operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Governing Board and the Scientific Advisory Board
- Prepare annual reports and ensure CSR compliance documentation
- Assist in budgeting and financial coordination for all centre activities
- Support proposal development and strategic initiatives
- Coordinate CSR stakeholder engagement and site visits
- Oversee day-to-day office administration
Required Skills:
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines
- Experience in academic/research environments preferred
Educational Qualification:
· Postgraduate/ PhD with an Undergraduate degree in Science/Engineering from a reputed Institute/ University
Reporting To:
· Convenor, ABCMC, IISc
Salary and tenure
· Rs 80,000 + HRA per month.
· Tenure till March 31st, 2027 (may extend depending on the requirement and performance).
