About the role
Key responsibilities:
1. Understand product requirements and specifications
2. Create, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios
3. Perform functional, UI/UX, regression, and exploratory testing
4. Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira or similar
5. Collaborate closely with developers and project managers to clarify issues and ensure timely resolution
6. Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives as part of the Agile development process
7. Provide feedback on usability, design, and user experience
Requirements:
1. Demonstrate good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
2. Show familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools
3. Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills
4. Communicate effectively with good written and verbal communication skills
5. Maintain attention to detail and ability to think from an end-user perspective
6. Possess basic knowledge of automation tools or scripting
7. Have experience testing web or mobile applications
8. Understand testing tools and development best practices
