Role Description
Job Title: Salesforce QA Engineer
Location: Noida/Gurgaon/Bangalore/Chennai/Pune/Trivandrum/Kochi
Experience Range: 4 to 6 Years
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented
Salesforce QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will validate functional and technical requirements, execute comprehensive testing strategies, and collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements to create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform manual and automated testing across Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).
- Validate Salesforce configurations including:
- Flows and workflows
- Validation rules
- Profiles and permission sets
- Reports and dashboards
- Execute multiple testing types:
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- Integration Testing
- UAT Support
- Ensure data integrity, security, and role-based access validation.
- Test integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs/middleware.
- Log, track, and manage defects using tools like Jira or AWS DevOps.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives).
- Support release validation, deployment testing, and post-production checks.
- Maintain QA documentation and reporting.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience in Salesforce QA / Testing
- Hands-on experience with:
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- Good understanding of:
- Salesforce architecture & data model
- Security model (roles, profiles, permission sets)
- Experience testing:
- Flows and Workflows
- Validation Rules
- Apex Triggers (testing perspective)
- Lightning Components (LWC/Aura)
- Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira / AWS DevOps
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience in Salesforce test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Provar)
- Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with TestRail or similar test management tools
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator or QA-related certifications)
