Overview
As a Developer II, you are responsible for producing clean, efficient code that meets user story acceptance criteria while ensuring high-quality standards through well‑covered unit test scripts. You will troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software as needed, and actively participate in build and deployment activities to support smooth and reliable releases.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may vary over time and include, but are not limited to:
- Work with the team to design, develop and test software that meets product needs
- Diagnose and resolve reported problems and issues
- Successfully delivers the results on initiatives in timely and effective manner.
- Participate in backlog refinement meeting and contribute to the backlog refinement and estimations.
- Sprints planning and delivering as per the commitment.
- Participate in daily standups and team meetings.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience
- 4+ years in the IT industry and a good understanding of the full life cycle of development.
- Solid foundation in OOPS.
- Development experience with Microsoft web technologies and database programming.
- Experience with HTML 5, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery
- Experience with C#, Web API, SQL Server, IIS
- Experience with Unit Test and Test-Driven Development.
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
Preferred Experience
- 3+ years’ experience of the full life cycle of development in Microsoft Technologies
- Experience/understanding of recent UI/UX/Server/Service technologies (e.g., Angular and latest .Net, SOAP, Web API)
- Experience with GIT/Azure Devops
- Knowledge/experience in legacy technologies like ASP, JavaScript
- Experience and/or understanding of full-stack development
