Role Description The Developer role at Guhya is a full-time, on-site position based in Tarn Taran. In this role, the Developer will design, implement, and maintain application features that support secure messaging and robust encryption workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, debugging and resolving issues, performing code reviews, and collaborating with product and design teams to enhance the user experience. The Developer will also optimize application performance, integrate security best practices, and contribute to technical documentation and testing processes. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teammates to implement new features, improve reliability, and maintain high standards of privacy and security.
Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages commonly used for secure messaging platforms (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript, or Python).
- Experience with mobile or web application development frameworks and tools, including version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of encryption concepts, secure communication protocols, and application security best practices.
- Ability to design, debug, and optimize software for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Familiarity with APIs, backend services, and database integration for messaging or real-time communication systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-based environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience building privacy-focused products or working with secure systems is an advantage.
