Job Title: Sr. Director – Generative AI & Conversational Intelligence

About the Role:

We are seeking a visionary and technically hands-on Sr. Director – Generative AI to lead our strategic initiatives around conversational AI, voice bots, and intelligent agent systems. This is a high-impact leadership role for a seasoned professional who has deep experience with LLMs, LangChain, and end-to-end bot architecture, and who has successfully built and scaled real-world AI solutions.

You will be responsible for driving our Generative AI charter, leading cross-functional teams, and steering product innovation in alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Generative AI strategy across the organization, identifying high-impact areas for conversational AI, voice automation, and intelligent assistants.

Architect and oversee the development of chatbots, voice bots, Agentic AI and conversational AI systems, leveraging LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Mistral) and frameworks like LangChain.

Collaborate with product, engineering, UX, and business teams to conceptualize and deliver AI-powered user experiences.

Drive technical excellence and innovation in prompt engineering, agent design, context-aware systems, and memory management for conversation systems.

Build and lead a world-class team of applied scientists, machine learning engineers, and AI researchers.

Stay ahead of trends in open-source LLMs, multi-agent frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and fine-tuning techniques.

Ensure ethical, secure, and scalable deployment of GenAI models and APIs.

Represent the company externally in conferences, partnerships, and thought leadership forums.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

14+ years of experience in the software/AI industry, with deep expertise in AI-first product development.

Proven track record of leading the development and deployment of production-grade conversational AI platforms.

Strong understanding of LLMs, LangChain, vector databases, RAG pipelines, and multi-modal AI systems.

Solid hands-on experience with prompt engineering, agent workflows, orchestration layers, and LLMOps.

Familiarity with tools like OpenAI, Hugging Face, Pinecone, Weaviate, LlamaIndex, etc.

Experience scaling AI teams and projects in enterprise or consumer-facing environments.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
