Role Description
This full-time, on-site role of Destination Expert is based in Siliguri. The Destination Expert will craft customized travel itineraries, respond to client queries, coordinate logistics with vendors, and ensure outstanding customer experiences. They will actively manage tour operations, collaborate with team members, and stay updated on trends and services across key travel regions. Building customer relations and delivering exceptional service are integral to this role.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of regional destinations, including West Bengal, Sikkim, Bhutan, Andaman, and Northeast India.
- Skills in itinerary planning, travel logistics, and vendor coordination.
- Effective communication and customer service skills to address traveler queries and deliver seamless experiences.
- Proficiency in using travel management tools and basic software applications.
- Problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and customer-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in the travel or tourism industry is highly desirable.
- Multilingual skills and familiarity with adventure tour services are advantageous.
