Role Description
The Desktop Support Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bandra, Mumbai. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to desktop computers, performing Printer Support, and ensuring the optimal performance of IT equipment. The role entails troubleshooting hardware and software problems, providing prompt technical support, and facilitating repairs and maintenance of computer systems. Additionally, the Desktop Support Technician will collaborate with team members to maintain smooth IT operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in working with desktop computers, including setup, configuration, and maintenance
- Experience in providing technical support and resolving hardware and software issues
- Strong skills in printer support and troubleshooting common printer-related problems
- Expertise in computer repair and preventative maintenance tasks
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
- Relevant certifications in IT support or hardware and network repair are an advantage
- Prior experience in desktop support or similar technical roles is beneficial
