Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Desktop Support Engineer located in Bengaluru. The Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support for desktop computers and printers, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing installations and repairs, and assisting with system upgrades. The role also involves ensuring timely resolution of technical problems and delivering excellent customer support to maintain operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in working with desktop computers, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical support issues for hardware and software.
- Knowledge of printer support and the ability to troubleshoot various printer-related issues.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware components and the ability to diagnose hardware malfunctions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective customer support and explain technical issues in simple terms.
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate with team members and end-users in person.
- Additional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or equivalent would be an advantage.
Experience in IT support within a business or corporate setting is preferred.Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of Microsoft 365 environment.
*Manage user accounts,groups, permissions, and licenses.
*Implement and maintain security policies and compliance measures.
*Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 services.
*Plan and execute migrations, updates, and integrations with other systems.
*Provide end-user support and training for Microsoft 365 applications.
*Implement and manage multi-factor authentication and other security measures.
*Coordinate with Microsoft support for issue resolution and service requests*Manage and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online,Exchange On prim, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune,complaince, Azure AD and OneDrive.
*Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of Microsoft 365 environment.
*Manage user accounts,groups, permissions, and licenses.
*Implement and maintain security policies and compliance measures.
*Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 services.
