Desktop Support Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer with 2+ years of experience to provide day-to-day support for hardware, software, networking, and computer services.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS and business applications.
• Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP issues.
• Support basic configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and network devices.
• Handle employee IT support requests and resolve issues within the required timeline.
• Maintain IT assets, inventory, and system documentation.
• Coordinate with external vendors for hardware, networking, internet, and software-related issues.
• Support employee onboarding and exit-related IT requirements.
• Ensure systems are updated with required security patches and antivirus.
• Escalate complex issues to the senior IT team when required.
Requirements
• Diploma / bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in IT Support / Desktop Support / Technical Support.
• Good knowledge of computer hardware, Windows, software troubleshooting, and basic networking.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide timely user support.
