Desktop Support Engineer

Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and ensure smooth IT operations across our offices in Hyderabad and Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, supporting end users, and maintaining IT infrastructure with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals 🖥️
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and basic network-related issues (onsite & remote) 🌐
- Troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and connectivity issues efficiently 🛠️
- Perform system installations, upgrades, patches, and security updates 🔐
- Handle user tickets and ensure timely resolution as per SLAs 🎫
- Maintain IT asset inventory, tagging, and documentation 📊
- Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams when necessary ⬆️
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and support records 📝
- Educate end users on system usage, security practices, and IT policies 👨💻

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Desktop Support / IT Helpdesk role✔️
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts, operating systems, and troubleshooting techniques🔍
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills💡
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities🗣️
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively⏳

Preferred:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or equivalent) will be an advantage
