Role Description This full-time on-site Desktop Support Engineer role is based in Madurai and involves providing day-to-day technical support for end users. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop computers and peripherals, diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting printers and other office devices. The role also involves responding to support tickets, performing routine system checks, and escalating complex issues when necessary. The Desktop Support Engineer will work closely with internal teams to ensure minimal downtime, maintain documentation of incidents and resolutions, and contribute to continuous improvement of IT support processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Desktop Computers and Technical Support to handle user issues and system configurations.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting and Computer Hardware skills to diagnose and resolve hardware-related problems.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Printer Support to maintain and repair networked and standalone printers.
- Candidates should possess good communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with end users and team members.
- Candidates should possess relevant education or certifications in IT, Computer Science, or related fields; vendor or hardware certifications are an advantage.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work on-site in Madurai, manage multiple support requests, and follow established IT processes and security guidelines.
