Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Desktop Applications Developer based in Thiruvananthapuram. The Desktop Applications Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining user-focused desktop software applications. The role includes writing clean and efficient code, debugging and troubleshooting software issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client requirements. The candidate will ensure that all software solutions are scalable, secure, and adhere to the latest technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, .NET, or Java for desktop application development
- Experience with software development lifecycle, requirements analysis, and system design
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with GUI frameworks and tools for building user-friendly desktop interfaces
- Knowledge of database systems and integration
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for team-based development
- Ability to independently manage tasks and meet project deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in accounting software development is a plus
