Job Title: Senior Designer Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and experienced Senior Designer to join our Design team. The candidate will be responsible for developing innovative textile patterns and print concepts while ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and market trends. The ideal candidate should possess strong design capabilities, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in textile/fabric design and showroom presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative textile patterns, prints, and surface designs for various product categories.
- Research current market trends, fabrics, colors, textures, and design techniques to create commercially successful collections.
- Collaborate closely with product development and merchandising teams to ensure designs align with brand requirements and buyer expectations.
- Oversee the sampling process and ensure samples are developed as per approved design specifications.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors for fabric selection, quality standards, and production feasibility.
- Present design concepts, mood boards, and collections to internal stakeholders and buyers.
- Ensure timely execution of design projects while maintaining creativity and quality standards.
- Handle buyer accounts proactively with self-initiative and ownership.
- Set up and manage showroom displays effectively during buyer visits and presentations.
- Maintain strong coordination with cross-functional teams for smooth workflow and project completion.
- Utilize design software effectively, especially Photoshop, for design development and presentations.
- Support continuous improvement in design processes and product innovation.
Qualification
- Diploma in Design or related field
Experience
- 6 to 9 years of experience in Textile/Fabric Design or related industry
