Role Description
The Modular Kitchen Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role involves meeting with clients to understand their requirements, lifestyles, and budget, and then creating modular kitchen layouts and designs that balance aesthetics, functionality, and space utilization. The designer will prepare detailed drawings, 3D renderings, and material specifications, and coordinate with the production and installation teams to ensure accurate execution. Daily responsibilities include guiding clients through product options, finishes, and accessories, providing design recommendations, and making revisions based on feedback. The role also includes supporting sales discussions, maintaining showroom displays, and ensuring a positive end-to-end customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Kitchen & Bath Design and Cabinetry, with the ability to create functional, visually appealing layouts.
- Customer Service and Communication skills to understand client needs, present design concepts clearly, and manage expectations.
- Sales skills to support consultations, explain product features and benefits, and contribute to closing projects.
- Proficiency in design software (such as AutoCAD, KDMAX, or similar tools) and basic knowledge of materials, hardware, and finishes.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with prior experience in modular kitchen design preferred.
- Detail-oriented mindset, ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate with factory, installation, and showroom teams and work on-site with flexible schedules as needed.
