How You'll Help Us Connect The World

We are looking for a Designer III to join our Microwave Systems team in Goa, India. In this role, you will lead drafting and documentation releases for MWS R&D engineering design and production support.

You Will Make An Impact By

• Leading new-product drawing releases in SAP with high accuracy, completeness and strong process ownership.
• Supporting Mechanical Engineers by creating 3D CAD models and detailed part/assembly drawings using SolidWorks or similar CAD tools.
• Maintaining and updating Document Information Records for MWS products in SAP to ensure data accuracy and timely release.
• Leading documentation and fast-track project releases focused on quality, speed and standardization.
• Improving CAD standards, drafting template, and documentation processes to enhance team efficiency and reduce rework.
• Conducting prototype part inspections, supporting mechanical prototype and participating in First Article Inspections (FAI) to enable smooth and reliable product development.
• Leading coordination and review activities by ensuring drawings meet GD&T and manufacturability standards, mentoring Drafter I/II team members and driving faster documentation cycles to improve speed-to-team and release efficiency.
• Supporting automation initiatives through Power BI dashboards for tracking, reporting and workflow visibility.
  
  

Required Qualifications For Consideration

• Diploma in Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Ability to independently interpret, create, and review complex part and assembly drawings.
• Strong understanding of BOM structures, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience reviewing drafting work and supporting standardization within a team.
• Exposure to Mechanical Design Simulation in prior roles (e.g., SolidWorks Simulation or similar tools).

• Have exposure to Mechanical Design Simulation tools (SolidWorks)
• Are familiar with PDM/PLM systems such as SolidWorks PDM or Windchill.
• Have experience with Power BI dashboards and workflow analytics.
• Have experience working with global engineering teams across different time zones.
• Demonstrate a proactive, improvement-focused mindset with strong ownership of documentation and release processes.
