Role Description The Facade Designer will be responsible for developing detailed facade designs and shop drawings for commercial and residential projects, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating facade systems such as cladding and glazing, preparing design documentation, and collaborating with structural, architectural, and project teams to resolve technical issues. The role involves reviewing drawings, performing basic design calculations, supporting material selection, and providing on-site design support as required. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, requiring regular collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of facade systems, including Facade and Facade Design skills.
- Ability to develop and interpret detailed Shop Drawings for facade elements.
- Experience with exterior finishes such as Cladding and Glazing.
- Proficiency in CAD or BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and relevant design tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Understanding of building codes, structural principles, and material properties related to facades.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented approach to design work.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
