Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Verification Engineer role based in Hyderabad. The Design Verification Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing verification plans, creating testbenches, and performing functional and formal verification of complex RTL designs. The role involves analyzing specifications, collaborating closely with design and architecture teams, and ensuring comprehensive coverage of verification scenarios. Day-to-day tasks include debugging failures, root-cause analysis, maintaining regression suites, and improving verification methodologies and automation. The engineer will also contribute to documentation, code reviews, and cross-functional discussions to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of RTL Design and Computer Architecture, with the ability to interpret specifications and translate them into verification requirements.
- Hands-on experience in Functional Verification, including testbench development, coverage analysis, and regression management.
- Proficiency in Formal Verification techniques and tools for validating complex digital designs.
- Advanced Debugging skills for identifying, analyzing, and resolving design and verification issues.
- Experience with industry-standard HDLs (such as Verilog/SystemVerilog) and verification methodologies (such as UVM or similar).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional engineering teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Exposure to ASIC/SoC design flows, scripting languages (such as Python, Perl, or Shell), and version control systems is beneficial.
