Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Verification Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The Design Verification Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing verification plans for ASIC and IP designs, including testbench architecture, test case creation, and coverage analysis. Daily tasks include performing functional and formal verification, debugging design and testbench issues, and collaborating closely with RTL designers and architects to ensure design correctness and quality. The role also involves reviewing specifications, participating in design and verification reviews, maintaining documentation, and working with cross-functional teams to support tape-out schedules and continuous improvement of verification methodologies.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Functional Verification and Debugging for complex digital designs.
- Proficiency in RTL Design and understanding of Computer Architecture concepts.
- Experience with Formal Verification methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of industry-standard verification languages and frameworks (e.g., SystemVerilog, UVM) is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret design specifications and translate them into verification plans.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in collaborative teams.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (such as Python, Perl, or shell scripting) and version control tools is an advantage.
