Job Summary
Interex Semiconductor is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Design Verification Engineer to join our growing semiconductor team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SoC/IP verification methodologies, SystemVerilog, UVM, and debugging complex verification environments.
The engineer will work closely with design, architecture, and validation teams to ensure high-quality silicon delivery for next-generation semiconductor products.
We are specifically looking for candidates with 4.5+ years of relevant experience and notice period between 0 to 90 days.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans for IPs and SoC-level designs
- Build reusable verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM methodology
- Develop testcases, assertions, coverage models, and debug infrastructure
- Perform functional, regression, and coverage-driven verification
- Debug RTL issues and work closely with design teams for closure
- Analyze simulation results and improve verification quality metrics
- Participate in architecture and design reviews
- Drive verification closure including code coverage, functional coverage, and assertions
- Work on protocols such as AXI, AHB, APB, PCIe, USB, DDR, or Ethernet based on project requirements
- Support automation and scripting using Perl, Python, or Shell scripting
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics/ECE/VLSI or related field
- 4.5+ years of hands-on experience in Design Verification
- Strong expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM
- Good understanding of digital design and computer architecture concepts
- Experience in SoC/IP verification environment development
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience with industry-standard simulators such as VCS, Xcelium, or Questa
- Knowledge of assertions (SVA) and coverage-driven verification
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Shell
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in low-power verification is an added advantage
- Exposure to formal verification methodologies
- Knowledge of AMBA protocols and processor-based SoCs
- Experience working in fast-paced semiconductor product companies
