We’re Hiring: Design Studio Head
📍 Location: Churchgate, Mumbai | 🕒 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (Mon–Sat) (2nd & 4th Sat off)
A leading design studio specializing in bespoke lighting is looking for an experienced Design Studio Head to oversee the successful execution of creative, high-precision projects.
💼 Role Highlights:
1. Host and conduct workshops, client visits, and curated studio experiences.
2. Lead and manage end-to-end production, including daily production scheduling, task delegation, and quality control.
3. Strategize and develop business plans for RMGS, aligning production goals, design innovation, and revenue targets.
4. Conceptualize and design new product ranges and categories in art glass for collections, exhibitions, and studio sales.
5. Develop and present customized design proposals for clients and institutional collaborators.
6. Supervise overall studio operations from material and equipment maintenance to team coordination and workflow efficiency.
7. Manage the procurement of glass colors, tools, and raw materials based on production needs and inventory status.
8. Oversee petty cash handling (temporarily) and daily task allocation for the glassblowers, polishing team, and support staff.
9. Coordinate closely with Arjun Rathi Design’s design team to ensure timely and accurate execution of all ARD glass lighting production at RMGS.
10. Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to support project timelines, installations, and special orders.
11. Host visiting international artists and plan their creative output, technical support, and glass art production during their residency at the studio.
12. Assess studio equipment needs and propose upgrades or new acquisitions to enhance technical capabilities.
13. Provide inputs to the graphic designer for timely updates of RMGS's catalogues, price lists, and studio profile.
14. Maintain detailed tracking of production progress, studio schedules, and reporting to Management.
Experience leading a team and tracking project KPIs
Proficiency in MS Excel
Strong communication & organizational skills
Experience Required : 7 to 8yrs in Designing Background
Qualification - MBA
This opening is for only Mumbai based candidates who can travel till Churchgate daily. Immediate joiner preferred.
