About The Role
Manager – Design (Brand, Growth & Digital)
Location: Bengaluru
Team: Global Marketing
Reports to: Head of Design

Design at Ascendion doesn’t just build brand presence, it activates demand, sharpens market positioning, and helps drive measurable client impact.
We’re hiring a hands-on design leader who can think at the level of systems and stories, and still get obsessed with pixels at 2 AM.
This role reports directly into the Head of Design: co-thinking, co-creating, pushing boundaries, and occasionally asking
“what if we did the exact opposite?”

What You’ll Actually Do
Design. A Lot. And Own It End-to-End.
- Be a senior contributor driving hands-on execution across:
- brand campaigns
- digital experiences (web, microsites, product narratives)
- social + growth creatives
- event identities
- sales & CXO-level decks
- Own high-stakes presentation design, board decks, leadership POVs, analyst narratives where structure, pacing, and visual judgment matter more than decoration.
- Translate strategy, GTM priorities, and complex narratives (AI, engineering platforms, GCCs, talent transformation) into clear, opinionated visual stories that strengthen brand distinctiveness, support demand generation and influence client buying conversations.
- Design assets that help convert attention into engagement, across campaigns, pursuits, analyst narratives, and growth programs.
- Take work from first messy idea → final polished artifact without needing guardrails.
Co-Create with the Head of Design
- Work hand-in-hand with Head of Desing on:
- creative direction
- design systems evolution
- experiments that may or may not work (but are worth trying)
- Be a thinking partner — not just an executor — on big moments, bold ideas, and “we’ve never done this before” initiatives.
- Help raise the creative ambition bar across the marketing org.
AI-Native by Instinct
- Use AI tools naturally across your workflow for:
- concept exploration
- rapid visual iteration
- layout experimentation
- storytelling acceleration
- Execution speed
- Experiment with generative tools, prompt-driven design, and AI-assisted production without sacrificing craft.
- Help define how AI fits into modern design practice while being responsible, creative, and at speed.
- Be curious, playful, and slightly rebellious about new tools.
Bring the Brand to Life (and Stretch It)
- Apply Ascendion’s design system consistently and know when and where to bend it.
- Push creative boundaries while staying rooted in brand purpose and business intent.
- Design thought-leadership assets that stand out in-market and help position Ascendion with the clients and industries we want to win.
- Turn dense ideas into intuitive visuals people actually want to engage with.
Collaborate Like a Pro
- Partner closely with writers, marketers, growth teams, and tech leadership.
- Support enterprise pursuits and CXO-facing moments with sharp, story-driven design.
- Participate actively in critiques, sprints, and creative debates (strong opinions welcome).
You’ll Thrive Here If You…
- Have 8–10 years of experience in brand, marketing, or digital design — ideally in B2B tech, IT services, or high-growth environments.
- Have serious chops in presentation design (PowerPoint / Google Slides) and can show executive-ready storytelling in your portfolio.
- Are fluent in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern prototyping tools.
- Use AI tools comfortably and are excited about how they’re reshaping creative work.
- Think great design is about clarity, emotion, judgment, and impact — not trends for trend’s sake.
- Bring ideas that are a little unexpected, occasionally wacky, and always intentional.
