Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Design, located in Bhiwandi. The Head of Design will be responsible for overseeing all design-related aspects, including visual design, product design, branding, and interior design. This role involves leading a team of designers, managing design projects, and ensuring that all design work meets the company's quality standards and aligns with the client's requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and manage the design team to deliver innovative, functional, and visually stunning designs.
- Oversee design strategy across visual design, product design, branding, and interiors.
- Review and approve design concepts, drawings, and material selections.
- Ensure all designs meet quality, scope, and timeline commitments.
- Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, materials, finishes, and cost implications.
- Take ownership of decision-making and problem-solving in the design domain.
Qualification and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in interior design, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-end residential, commercial, or retail projects.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, Photoshop, Revit, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
- Strong knowledge of design detailing, materials, finishes, and costing.
- Ability to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhiwandi
