Role Description
The Design Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Panipat. The Design Manager will lead a team of designers and artisans, overseeing the end-to-end design process from concept development to final product. Daily responsibilities include managing design projects, allocating resources, reviewing and refining design work, and ensuring alignment with brand standards and client expectations. The role involves close collaboration with production, merchandising, and leadership teams to translate creative ideas into feasible, high-quality products. The Design Manager will also mentor team members, implement efficient workflows, and contribute to strategic design decisions that support business growth.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in design leadership, including managing design teams and projects.
- Strong skills in product design, textile or surface design, and familiarity with artisan-based production processes.
- Proficiency with relevant design tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or similar design applications).
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional work with production, sourcing, and merchandising teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven capability in project planning, time management, and meeting deadlines.
- Minimum of 5+ experince in the design industry.
