Role
Overview We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Designer Manager to lead our interior design team and oversee the complete design process across multiple projects. This role requires a balance of strong leadership, design expertise, and project coordination to ensure client satisfaction and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate will act as the key link between the design team, clients, and cross functional departments.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the design team to deliver high-quality interior solutions aligned with brand standards.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on design concepts, technical drawings, and presentations.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, provide expert consultation, and ensure expectations are exceeded.
• Set individual performance targets for team members and monitor their progress to ensure goal alignment.
• Drive strategic planning and resource allocation across design projects to optimize team productivity.
• Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining quality and adhering to budget constraints.
• Provide mentorship, training, and regular performance evaluations to support professional growth of the design team.
• Conduct regular design audits and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations, and execution teams for seamless project handovers.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging materials, and design technologies to drive continuous innovation.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding of new design team members to maintain a high-performance culture.
• Handle and resolve design-related escalations from clients or internal teams, ensuring prompt action and maintaining client satisfaction.
• Handle High End Clients also.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in Interior Design, with at least 2-3 year in a managerial or leadership role • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
• High creative sensibility with a focus on functional and aesthetic outcomes
