Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Design Manager position located in the Pune District. The Design Manager will oversee the end-to-end product design process, collaborate closely with the Front end and NPD teams, and ensure the development of market-ready, innovative solutions. Responsibilities include leading design projects, coordinating between departments, and mentoring team members to maintain high design standards. The Design Manager will also analyze customer requirements, contribute to product optimization, and ensure designs meet production capabilities while managing documentation and timelines efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Product Design, CAD software, and technical drawing interpretation
- Knowledge of material selection, manufacturing processes, and production techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills with effective Research and Development experience
- Project management expertise with excellent leadership and team collaboration abilities
- Clear communication skills and proficiency in report writing and documentation
- Background in mechanical, industrial, or product design engineering (bachelor's degree or higher is preferred)
- Experience working in manufacturing industries, especially in Machine Elements or related sectors, is advantageous
