Job Title: Design Manager – Healthcare / Hospital Projects

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of design activities for hospital/healthcare projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that design deliverables meet functional, regulatory, and quality standards while aligning with project timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
Design Management
- Lead and manage end-to-end design process for hospital projects (concept to execution).
- Coordinate with architects, consultants (MEP, structural, medical planners), and contractors.
- Review and validate design drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with hospital planning norms, NABH/JCI guidelines, and local regulations.
Project Coordination
- Act as the key interface between design consultants, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Monitor design progress and ensure milestones are achieved on time.
- Identify design gaps and provide practical solutions to minimize delays.
Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of healthcare infrastructure planning (OTs, ICUs, ward layouts, HVAC norms, etc.).
- Evaluate value engineering proposals to optimize cost without compromising quality.
- Ensure integration of MEP systems, medical gas, fire safety, and HVAC designs.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to statutory norms, building codes, and healthcare standards.
- Conduct periodic design reviews and audits.
- Maintain documentation and version control of drawings.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external consultants.
- Present design updates and resolve technical queries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture / Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience in hospital/healthcare projects is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools.
Experience Requirement
- 4–10 years of relevant experience in design management for large-scale projects.
- Prior experience in hospital/healthcare infrastructure is highly preferred.
