Urgent Hiring: Design Lead / Design Manager (Product Development) – Citykart

About the Role
Citykart is urgently hiring a dynamic Design Lead / Design Manager to head our Product Development team. The role involves driving trend-based, commercially strong collections across Menswear, Womenswear, and Kidswear.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage the apparel design team (Men’s, Ladies’, Kids).
· Trend forecasting, market research, and competitor analysis.
· Develop seasonal collections with strong design, fit, and fabric quality.
· Collaborate with Merchandising, PD, and Pre-Production for end-to-end execution.
· Oversee vendors, sampling, and quality alignment.
· Ensure brand consistency and guide the design team for high performance.
Eligibility
· Graduate from NIFT / Pearl Academy / NIFD (preferred).
· 6–7 years’ experience, including 2–3 years in a leadership role.
· Experience across Men’s, Ladies’, and Kidswear.
· Value retail experience is a strong plus.
· Strong design software skills (Illustrator, Photoshop).
