Design lead - Job Description
We are looking for a Design lead with a strong design background who can become the visual custodian of Secret Alchemist across every touchpoint.
This is not just a social media role.
This role is for someone who understands how brands feel.
From ad creatives to packaging, from the website to PDPs, from campaign shoots to Instagram grids every consumer interaction should feel cohesive, elevated, and unmistakably Secret Alchemist.
The ideal candidate is someone who has personally been a designer and deeply understands aesthetics, composition, storytelling, typography, motion, and visual hierarchy. Someone who knows the tools, understands the process, and can guide a design team not just operationally, but creatively.
You will be responsible for ensuring that every piece of content carries the same energy, emotion, and visual language across platforms almost becoming the owner and guardian of the Secret Alchemist brand book.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the internal design and content team
- Build a cohesive visual identity across all brand touchpoints
- Ensure consistency across social media, ads, website, PDPs, emailers, packaging, and campaigns
- Work closely with founders to translate brand vision into creative execution
- Guide designers with hands-on understanding of design softwares and workflows
- Oversee art direction for shoots, campaigns, launches, and digital assets
- Maintain and evolve the visual language of Secret Alchemist as the brand scales
- Ensure all creatives feel premium, emotionally resonant, and aligned with the brand ethos
Requirements
- Strong background in graphic design / visual communication
- Proficiency in major design softwares and creative workflows
- Strong understanding of branding, luxury aesthetics, and visual storytelling
- Ability to lead teams while maintaining high creative standards
- Detail-oriented with a sharp eye for consistency and design language
- Experience in beauty, wellness, luxury, fashion, or lifestyle brands is a plus
- Someone who naturally obsesses over cohesion, aesthetics, and brand energy
- This role is for someone who wants to build a brand universe not just create posts.
