Job Title: Manager – Architectural Design
About the Role
You will lead the architectural design and planning for high-rise residential projects, ensuring complete compliance with local bylaws, statutory regulations, fire safety norms, and applicable building codes. The role involves overseeing master planning, unit layouts, floor plans, and building configurations while optimizing functionality, space utilization, and design efficiency. You will collaborate closely with structural, MEP, fire, and landscape consultants to deliver technically coordinated and approval-ready designs. Additionally, you will manage statutory submissions, authority approvals, and resolution of design-related queries to support seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design development and review for high-rise residential projects, ensuring compliance with development bylaws, building regulations, fire norms, and statutory codes.
- Prepare, review, and finalize architectural master plans, unit layouts, typical floor plans, and building configurations in alignment with approval requirements and statutory conditions.
- Ensure efficient space planning, functionality, and usability while adhering to FAR/FSI norms, setbacks, height regulations, parking requirements, and area statements.
- Review and finalize architectural layouts, elevations, façade concepts, and design details, ensuring consistency with project vision, approvals, and compliance standards.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, fire, and landscape consultants to ensure seamless interdisciplinary integration and technically coordinated designs.
- Lead the preparation and review of statutory and authority submission drawings, including sanction drawings, fire NOC documentation, and approval sets, ensuring zero compliance gaps.
- Provide design support to resolve consultant, authority, and site-related queries, ensuring alignment between design intent and execution requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
- Certifications in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, or related design tools will be preferred.
Experience That Counts
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in architectural design and drawings for residential projects, with strong exposure to high-rise developments.
- Hands-on experience in preparing layouts, elevations, façade details, and construction drawings, along with coordination with consultants, site teams, and execution stakeholders.
- Experience in managing drawing revisions, approval processes, and supporting smooth on-site implementation.
