Role Description The Design Internship at Romphus is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. Interns will support the design team by assisting with concept development, creating visual assets, and preparing presentation materials for ongoing projects. Day-to-day tasks may include working on graphic design and layout, collaborating on architectural and spatial design concepts, and helping to refine CAD drawings and models under guidance. Interns will also conduct research on design trends, materials, and user needs to inform project decisions, and participate in team discussions, reviews, and client-ready documentation. This role is designed to provide practical experience, skill development, and insight into professional design processes.
Qualifications
- Ability to create visual content using Graphic Design and Graphics skills for both digital and print formats.
- Interest and foundational knowledge in Architecture, including spatial planning and design concepts.
- Proficiency or developing skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for drafting and 3D modeling.
- Strong Research skills to gather, analyze, and synthesize information that supports design decisions.
- Pursuing or recently completed studies in Design, Architecture, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Basic familiarity with industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CAD applications).
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to take feedback and incorporate it into work.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in a team environment in Bengaluru.
