We are now looking for our Founding Design Lead—someone who doesn’t just design products… but helps build a category-defining brand.
Role Description
The Role
You will own the visual and product design language of Common Thread from day one.
You will shape how our brand feels, looks, fits, moves, and lives across apparel, accessories, and pet products. This is a builder role.

Who You Are
- 5+ years in apparel, accessories, soft goods, or lifestyle product design
- Graphic designer
- Strong portfolio of products that feel premium, thoughtful, and commercially viable
- Experience with D2C, luxury, sportswear, lifestyle, or design-led consumer brands
- Deep understanding of materials, fit, trims, construction, and manufacturing
- Strong taste. Strong opinions. Zero ego.
- Comfortable building from ambiguity
- Obsessed with detail
- Loves animals—or deeply aligns with the mission
