Role Description The Design Test Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Andhra Pradesh, India. This role involves designing test plans and procedures, developing test setups, and validating products and components according to engineering specifications and industry standards. The engineer will select, configure, and maintain test equipment, perform electrical and functional testing, and analyze test data to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Typical responsibilities include documenting test results, preparing technical reports, collaborating with design and production teams to refine product performance, and supporting failure analysis and root-cause investigations. The role also includes continuous improvement of test methodologies, adherence to quality and safety guidelines, and alignment with Corpmatch’s commitment to industry-ready technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Test Engineering and Testing, including test execution, data collection, and validation of product performance.
- Candidates should possess solid Test Design skills, including creating test plans, procedures, and test cases aligned with product and system requirements.
- Candidates should possess a sound foundation in Electrical Engineering, with knowledge of circuits, electronic components, and measurement principles.
- Candidates should possess experience with Test Equipment, including selection, configuration, calibration, and safe operation of instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards, and to document test results clearly and accurately.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and reliability.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams in a lab and production environment.
- Familiarity with safety procedures in test and lab environments and willingness to comply with organizational policies and guidelines.
