Role Description The Design Faculty role at CollegeDekho is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. We are hiring UI/UX Design, Game Design, Interior Design, Product & Communication faculty members who will design and deliver engaging curricula in design-related subjects, including classroom teaching, assignment creation, project supervision, and evaluation. Responsibilities include developing learning materials and resources, integrating industry-relevant practices and tools into coursework, and mentoring learners on portfolios and career readiness. The role involves collaborating with academic leaders and other faculty to refine programs, participate in academic reviews, and contribute to workshops, seminars, and events. The Design Faculty is also expected to stay updated with trends in design education and the broader design industry to ensure that learners gain contemporary, practical skills.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in design principles, visual communication, and user-centered design, with the ability to teach these concepts clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency with common design tools and software (such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar), and experience integrating these tools into teaching and project work.
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment design for design or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide learners on portfolios, projects, and career pathways in design or creative fields.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with an inclusive and learner-focused teaching style.
- Master’s Degree in Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Industry or studio experience in areas such as graphic design, interaction design, product design, or multimedia design is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working with technology-enabled learning platforms and openness to adopting innovative teaching methods.
