🚨 WE ARE HIRING | DESIGN ENGINEER – MECHANICAL (HVAC & PLUMBING)
Petrocon Engineers & Consultants is looking for an experienced Design Engineer – Mechanical (HVAC & Plumbing) to join our team and contribute to challenging Industrial, Building & Infrastructure projects.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
• Develop and review HVAC & Plumbing system designs and calculations.
• Prepare heat load, pipe sizing, equipment selection and system schematics.
• Work on HVAC, chilled water, plumbing and drainage systems.
• Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Electrical and Infrastructure teams.
• Review and guide Drafting/BIM teams to ensure design intent is accurately implemented.
• Prepare technical specifications, BOQs and equipment/material datasheets.
• Support tendering, vendor evaluation and technical bid reviews.
• Provide technical support during construction, including RFI and site query resolution.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and client specifications.
🎓 Qualification & Skills
✔️ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
✔️ 10+ years of HVAC & Plumbing Design experience
✔️ EPC / Engineering Consultancy experience preferred
✔️ Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA and applicable local codes
✔️ Proficiency in HAP, Ductsizer or equivalent design software
✔️ Working knowledge of Revit MEP & multidisciplinary coordination
✔️ Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
✔️ Professional engineering certification/membership is an advantage
