Key Responsibilities
- Design complete mechanical assemblies including machine frames, mounts, fixtures, conveyors and part handling mechanisms
- Develop 3D concept models and detailed manufacturing drawings using Solidworks software
- Analyze and control dimensional tolerances to maintain precise alignment of mechanical components.
- Select appropriate materials, bearings, fasteners, actuators and standard components
- Design for manufacturability, reliability and cost efficiency
- Coordinate with vendor to get fabrication activities including machining, sheet metal and assembly and followup project deliverables
