Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Pune Division for a Design Engineer specializing in Food Processing Equipment. The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing food processing systems, creating detailed design drawings using CAD tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that systems comply with industry standards and client specifications. The role also involves troubleshooting design challenges and implementing innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Strong knowledge of unit operations in food processing
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Food Processing Equipment design
Proficiency in SolidWorks / AutoCAD
Understanding of hygienic design principles & food safety standards
Knowledge of stainless steel (SS 304/316) design practices
Understanding of fabrication & assembly processes
