Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with hands-on experience in Creo (Version 8 & 11). The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in 2D drafting, GD&T, and DFM concepts, preferably from a manufacturing, polymer, plastic, or electrical industry background. The role involves supporting product development, design optimization, and manufacturing feasibility.
Key Responsibilities- Create and modify 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using Creo (V8 & V11)
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings in accordance with GD&T standards
- Apply DFM (Design for Manufacturing) principles during product design
- Coordinate with production, tooling, and manufacturing teams for design feasibility
- Manage design changes, revisions, and documentation control
- Support New Product Development (NPD) activities
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and design guidelines
- Provide technical support during prototype and production stages
Required Skills- Proficiency in Creo (Version 8 & 11)
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
- Strong 2D drafting and detailing skills
- Exposure to plastic / polymer components (preferred)
- Good problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills
Qualification- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
