Design Engineer - Clutch SystemALTEN Indiafull-timeRequired skillsCADCATIAchange managementSAPAbout the role ALTEN India Website: alten-india.com Job details: ResponsibilitiesCreation of complex 3D designs of components and subsystems in CAD according to the release process and the global design guidelines and according to the current design standards.Creation of 2D designs according to current design standards, including dimensional specifications and tolerances, according to the program progress and release processes.Independently coordinates the design and integration of the systems with all affected design and release areas, vehicle integration, structural development, prototype construction and production areas.Coordinates the provision of 3D and 2D data from and to commissioned engineering partners and component suppliers accordingly the approval process.Regulates the data transfer from and to commissioned design suppliers and component suppliers.Implementation of requirements and design specifications regarding manufacturability, quality, aftersales and test & simulation results in part designChecking package and performance requirements regarding component integration in the Transmission.Change management of 3D and 2D design in PLM, Team CenterECO creation, PA creation in PLM and Part number generation in SAP.Provide, publish, and maintain the virtual 3D and 2D data according to the program progress and Approval processes.Trainer / coach for new employees in the team. RequirementsBachelor / Master’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering Discipline.CAD knowledge (3D, 2D) – Specifically Catia and UG-NxGood knowledge of Mechanical Engineering / Automotive Engineering.Good knowledge of the specialist manufacturing and Product development processes.MS Office Presentation skills, Organization skills, ability to work in a team, cost awareness, assertiveness.
