Key Responsibilities – BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) Designer- Design and develop Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions aligned with project requirements, grid conditions, and client specifications.
- Perform system sizing, battery selection, inverter configuration, and energy management optimization.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and technical documentation.
- Conduct feasibility studies, load analysis, and performance simulations for solar + storage hybrid systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, safety regulations, and grid codes (CEA, IEC, IEEE, etc.).
- Collaborate with solar design, electrical, and project teams to integrate BESS with PV systems effectively.
- Support procurement by preparing technical specifications, BOQs, and vendor evaluations.
- Review and validate designs for cost efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Assist in commissioning support, troubleshooting, and performance analysis of installed systems.
- Stay updated with emerging storage technologies, market trends, and regulatory developments.
