Designation: Design Engineer / Jr.Design Engineer
Reporting to: Team Leader
Roles and Responsibilities
- Utilize Autodesk Inventor 2022 to create accurate and detailed 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Develop and modify technical drawings, including drafting and detailing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet engineering and manufacturing requirements.
- Review and interpret engineering and structural drawings to understand project specifications.
- Conduct thorough design reviews to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate design performance and functionality.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to support production processes and resolve any design-related issues that arise.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in Autodesk Inventor to enhance design capabilities and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (DME or BE) or equivalent.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to apply them effectively.
- Knowledge of reading and interpreting engineering and structural drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
