We’re Hiring! (Design Engineer - Façades & Fenestration, Bangalore)
At Vistara Facades & Fenestration LLP, we work at the intersection of design intent and engineering precision—translating architectural vision into buildable, high-performance façade systems.
We are looking for a Design Engineer who understands both the technical depth and execution realities of façade design.
Role Description:
This is a full time & on-site role, where you will be involved across both tendering and project execution stages, working closely with internal teams to deliver coordinated, accurate, and buildable façade solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Tendering Phase
- Support Business Development with design inputs during tender preparation
- Analyse architectural intent drawings, technical documents, and project scope
- Prepare BOQs based on design intent and specifications
Project Execution Phase
- Interpret and develop detailed façade design based on approved architectural inputs
- Coordinate with structural engineers for system design (mullions, transoms, brackets, etc.)
- Prepare shop drawings based on project checklist, survey inputs, and structural calculations
- Develop BOMs, fabrication drawings, and coordinate approvals
- Manage drawing approvals with clients/architects and incorporate revisions
- Issue approved drawings to project and execution teams
- Prepare as-built drawings for project close-out
- Coordinate material verification with procurement teams
- Maintain documentation of submissions, approvals, and revisions
What we're looking for:
- Strong understanding of façade systems and detailing
- Experience with shop drawings, BOQs, and fabrication drawings
- Ability to translate design intent into practical, buildable solutions
- High attention to detail and documentation discipline
- Ability to coordinate across design, BD, and project teams
