Role: Design Engineer / Sr Design Engineer – Wiring Harness – 3D & 2D
Location: Pune
Experience: 3-7 Years
Notice Period: Immediate-30 Days only
Work Mode: WFO
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for 3D CAD design, 2D drawings, wiring harness routing, and electrical schematic development for automotive/off-highway applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and route electrical wiring harnesses with proper packaging.
- Create HV & LV electrical schematics (up to 11KV) using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Develop and update schematics for vehicles and motor control systems.
- Perform component selection (connectors, terminals, wires, covers).
- Design brackets, clamps, panels, grommets, seals, fuse boxes, and channels.
- Conduct 3D mock-ups, clearance checks, and integration using JT tools.
- Work on wiring GP creation and harness integration.
- Use Teamcenter/PDM tools for data management.
- Apply DFMEA, DFA, DFS principles and prepare fitment drawings.
Skills Required:
- Strong experience in AutoCAD Electrical & CREO Electrical (7.0 or above).
- Expertise in wiring harness routing, schematic design, and packaging.
- Knowledge of automotive/off-highway electrical systems.
- Familiarity with ELD, integration tools, and JT Translator.
- Good communication and MS Office skills.
Qualification:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Automotive Engineering.
